What’s happening 20.20?

Well, not a great deal has happened since my last update…

So, I’ve clearly kept paying to keep the site, and haven’t done anything with it! I’d like to say it was because I was living an amazing life, but I wasn’t; I was just living my life. I’ll try to do better, but let’s be honest, I haven’t done anything for the last 3 years with it, so…    -:-

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Closed Beta

You’ll see from my Instagram and Twitter feeds that I’ve been all over the Ghost Recon Wildlands Closed Beta this weekend. I wasn’t fortunate enough to get the invite myself, with the exception of I should imagine some targeted youtubers/twitchers and other social media savvy gamers, its the luck of the draw, and lucky for me, my fiend got invited to play the Closed Beta and fired off an invite to me.
I’ve had loads of fun in the game, experienced some well thought out teamsmanship and have liked the work involved in making working in teams a tactical element. Even running through solo the AI support team do their job and keep themselves in pretty much the right places at the right time… though they need to get their arse in gear getting in vehicles… they’re worse than the British for queuing up, it’s almost like the dialogue between them is “no, after you..” “I couldn’t possibly, after you” “NO, after you!” by the time they’re all in the car, the baddie is halfway to the next village and grabbing his mates to come back and duff you up! -:-

What’s happening?

Just a load of rebuilding my site…

So a rebuild has been happening, I’ve stripped the site back to basics and as new, and started again… I’m still not convinced this is the final build, and I’m interested in learning more php and css to build my own theme, I’d like to say because I have simple tastes and don’t require much in the way of whizz bang that it should be within my means, and it is, it will be.. but I don’t want to presume I can just do it and it work, so for now, I’ll stick with this theme, and work on creating my own in the background as I learn more coding.  -:-

Jaunt to New York

I took a trip to see my old school friend in New York, follow me while I’m out there…

Heathrow to John f Kennedy

Flight left on time, take off was so smooth, and we were served lunch of teriyaki chicken and rice, salad, cheese and crackers, honey roll, and an apple crumble dessert within an hour of take off. I managed to bag a row of seats all to myself and got to put my feet up and watch the films. The landing was smooth too, barely felt a thing and got through passport and customs within an hour. -:-

I’ll be off to New York soon, flying into JFK, staying in NY and visiting Pennsylvania for a weekend while I’m there. I’m going to use this website to plan out places to visit.
My carry on is packed and ready to go, I’ve a selection of new books and my travel journal, a bit of entertainment in the form of my iPad, some refreshments and beauty stuff to keep my face hydrated so I hopefully look half decent when I get to the other side of the pond. -:-
